I don’t like Obama or “obamacare”, but the intention here was that employees that work at least 30 hours a week are required to get health insurance. So now all these shitty companies are just cutting hours instead of giving health insurance.

and theyre cutting hours precisely *because* they cant afford to just start paying health insurance

simply because some politicians that dont understand how to run a business/have financial and political incentives of their own to do this (like having lobbyist allies in the health insurance industry)

I’d like to keep following this post but must ask that you make a small change in your argument —

“Giving health insurance” ??? - Please rephrase without using a term referring to a non-reality.
